The One Who Discovers Computers

01The One Who Discovers Computers

A family computer at 6, and the instinct to figure out how it works. By 10, I was already building my first PC from parts salvaged off old machines.

The One Who Wanted to Work in Advertising

The plan was communications and advertising. Web development caught up with me along the way. With hindsight, no complaints at all.

The One Who Learns to Code

03The One Who Learns to Code

My first student paycheck went into the first PC that was properly mine. I taught myself HTML and JavaScript alone, on a web that was inventing itself as I discovered it.

The One Who Discovers Tabletop RPG

04The One Who Discovers Tabletop RPG

I was a player first: worlds to explore, stories to live around a table. And little by little, the urge to move to the other side of the screen.

The One Who Shares Stories

05The One Who Shares Stories

Since 2007 I've been a game master: I create the conditions for an adventure, I don't write its script. World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Scion and Kuro are my playgrounds.

The One Who Loves Red Pandas

06The One Who Loves Red Pandas

My favourite animal, always has been. A tenacious little creature, and far smarter than it looks.

The name

The red panda is an umbrella species: protect its habitat and you protect everything living around it. I built this studio on the same idea. A place where code, story and play move forward together, with none pushing the others aside.

The mission

Build an ecosystem where disciplines strengthen each other rather than compete. Every project, technical or narrative, deserves the same rigour and ambition.

Values

01

Craft

Twenty years building systems, in code and in fiction, teach one thing: quality is non-negotiable. It is the condition for work that survives being handed to someone else.

02

Curiosity

Eighteen years alternating between cloud architecture and game mastering teach one thing: never specialise too narrowly. Curiosity, here, is a working discipline.

03

Honesty

No impossible promises. Realistic commitments, kept. Since 2008, it is the only approach that works over time.
